How to use and benefits of the AGM 12V/90Ah battery – Deep Cycle – VICTRON
How to use:
-
Charge:
- Use a specific AGM battery charger to recharge the battery.
- The recommended charging voltage is 14.4V to 14.8V.
- The charging current must not exceed 25% of the battery capacity (22.5A in the case of a 90Ah battery).
- The ideal charging temperature is between 20°C and 25°C.
- Avoid charging the battery at extreme temperatures (below -10°C or above 50°C).
-
Dump:
- The AGM 12V/90Ah – Deep Cycle battery is designed for frequent deep discharges.
- You can discharge the battery up to 80% of its capacity without damaging the battery.
- Avoid completely discharging the battery (below 10.5V).
- If you do not use the battery for a long time, store it charged to approximately 50% of its capacity.
-
Directions for use:
- Install the battery in a clean, dry and ventilated place.
- Protect the battery from shock and vibration.
- Keep battery terminals clean and dry.
- Disconnect the battery if you do not use it for a long time.
Benefits:
- Longer life: AGM batteries have a longer life than traditional lead-acid batteries, lasting up to 10 years or more with proper maintenance.
- Deep discharge resistance: AGM batteries are designed for frequent deep discharges without deterioration.
- Maintenance free: AGM batteries do not need to be filled with water and do not emit harmful gases.
- Increased security: AGM batteries are safer than traditional lead-acid batteries because they are less likely to leak or explode.
- Improved performance: AGM batteries offer better low temperature performance and better starting capability than traditional lead-acid batteries.
